SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY

WHAT IS SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY?
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) help children express themselves, whether through speech, gestures, signs, or communication devices. At Bright Little Minds, we support:
-
Speech clarity (articulation & sounds)
-
Language skills (words, sentences, conversations)
-
Social communication (play, interaction, nonverbal cues)
-
Feeding & swallowing (in partnership with OTs)
BRIGHT LITTLE MINDS
OUR APPROACH TO COMMUNICATION
Play-Based Therapy
Children learn best through play. We follow their interests to build motivation and communication in real-life situations.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Care
We value every child’s unique way of communicating—whether verbal, nonverbal, or using AAC. We focus on supporting confidence and self-expression, not changing who they are.
Gestalt Language Processing
Some children learn language in chunks or repeated phrases. We support this natural path and help them develop their own flexible communication.
